The Photo Challenge “Best Painting Artists” was created to share the passion, skill, and mastery of body repairers, partners, and professionals who, using SAIMA Meccanica spray booths, have created and photographed impossible or particularly creative paint jobs, becoming true “painting artists.”
The Challenge is divided into two categories:
– Mission Impossible (vehicles restored after an accident, jobs with high standards of difficulty, vehicles requiring extremely complex paint jobs);
– Creative Mission (imaginative and unusual paint jobs on any type of vehicle).
Those who wish to participate in the Challenge must interact with SAIMA Meccanica’s Instagram and Facebook social media channels by sending a photo of their “work” via Direct Messenger (through the Instagram or Messenger apps) or posting it on their profiles accompanied by the tags and hashtags specified in the “How to participate” section of these rules.
From the material received, the images that meet the requirements will be included in the official “SAIMA Painting Artists” social gallery, becoming part of the brand’s global communication. The photos will be published on SAIMA Meccanica’s social media channels: specifically, a special photo album will be created on Facebook, while a special section will be created in the Stories highlights on Instagram.
From these, the Jury will finally select 6 winners: 3 winners for the “Mission Impossible” category and 3 winners for the “Creative Mission” category.
This initiative is to be considered a creative and promotional activity, excluded from the regulations governing prize contests pursuant to Presidential Decree 430/2001 in Italy. The awards granted have no monetary value but are purely symbolic. Participation is open to all and free of charge.
ORGANIZATION
The Photo Challenge is organized by SAIMA Meccanica S.p.A., located at Loc. Indicatore 60/G – 52100 AREZZO – Italy
REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION
– The Photo Challenge is open to all painting professionals, who are at least 18 years old, living in Italy and abroad.
– Photos must only depict vehicles painted with SAIMA Meccanica equipment.
– To participate in the Challenge in the “Mission Impossible” category, it would be particularly appreciated if you could send or share an image of the vehicle before and after painting (in order to certify the actual complexity of the work).
– Participation is free of charge and will take place by sending or sharing images via Instagram and Facebook
– Participation in the Challenge implies full acceptance of these rules and is prohibited for members of the jury.
– International participants are responsible for complying with local laws regarding games and contests and declare that they meet the minimum age requirement to participate under their national legislation.
DURATION
The Photo Challenge begins on April 1, 2026, and ends on September 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CET
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Those who wish to participate in the Challenge must interact with SAIMA Meccanica’s Instagram or Facebook channels in the following ways:
– Follow the Instagram profile saimameccanicaspa and/or the Facebook page saimameccanicaofficial;
– Post a photo of your work (remember to obscure the license plates) on your Instagram/Facebook profile (remember to obscure the license plates);
– tag @saimameccanicaspa (Instagram) or @saimameccanicaofficial (Facebook)
– include the hashtag #paintingartists in the caption and, depending on the category you wish to compete in, the hashtags #missionimpossible or #creativemission;
or alternatively:
– Send a photo of your work (remember to obscure the license plates) to SAIMA Meccanica via Direct Messenger on Instagram or via the Messenger app, specifying your name, the body shop or company you belong to, and the category in which you intend to compete (“Mission Impossible” or “Creative Mission”).
Photos can be of any photographic style and format, both editing and any artistic form that allows you to express yourself to the best of your ability is permitted.
JURY
The photos submitted will be evaluated by a jury composed of communication experts and SAIMA Meccanica staff, who will choose the 6 best paint artists (3 winners per category) based on the photos received. Entries will be evaluated based on technical quality, creativity, and the complexity of the work.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS
By participating in this contest, the authors of the photos confirm and certify that:
– the photos uploaded for the Challenge were actually taken and created by themselves;
– the photos do not contain obscene, sexually explicit, violent, offensive, or defamatory material;
– the photos do not contain material that is discriminatory on the basis of gender, ethnicity, or religion;
– the photos do not contain political material;
– the authors have obtained permission (consent) to publish photos in which other people appear from the subjects portrayed therein;
– it is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that the publication of the photographs does not give rise to any kind of legal dispute;
– The organizing committee has the right to remove from the Challenge any photographs deemed unsuitable and that do not meet the above criteria;
– For their part, the winners undertake to mention in any communication relating to their winning photos that they were winners of the “Best Painting Artists” Photo Challenge.
SAIMA Meccanica S.p.A., together with the Jury, reserves the right not to accept images whose creation is presumed to have caused damage to third parties or is not in line with the spirit of the Photo Challenge.
Each participant is responsible for their own photographs, relieving SAIMA Meccanica S.p.A. of any responsibility, including for any subjects or work activities depicted in the photographs submitted.
PUBLICATIONS
All photos marked with the hashtag #PaintingArtists published during the Challenge period, or specifically sent for the purpose of participation, may be reused by SAIMA Meccanica S.p.A. and published on any medium and support (paper and/or digital) for promotional purposes.
In each use on Instagram and Facebook, the author may be cited with their social media nickname or their name if the author declares this and makes an effective request.
Participation in the Challenge implies viewing and accepting the terms and conditions and consenting to the processing of personal data.
Participation entails the granting, free of charge, of a non-exclusive right to use the submitted images for promotional and communication purposes, without territorial or time limitations.
Inclusion in the official social gallery does not guarantee selection as a winner.
PRIZES
There are no cash prizes. Moral prizes are provided.
“Non-monetary prizes” Winners will receive visibility exclusively through SAIMA Meccanica’s official channels. This recognition has no monetary value and is not convertible into cash or other goods.
The results of the Photo Challenge will be communicated through SAIMA Meccanica’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn social media channels.
– All participants will see their photo posted or sent to the Featured Stories section of the saimameccanicaspa Instagram profile.
– The authors of the 6 winning photographs, chosen by the jury, will have their work published in Saima Meccanica’s social media feed through dedicated content.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
The winners will be announced on social media in September 2026, to coincide with the Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt (September 8th-11th, 2026).
ADVERTISING
This announcement is published on the website www.saimameccanica.com and shared on various social networks, newsletters, printed promotional materials, and websites.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
For participants residing in the EU, personal data will be processed in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Italian law. Participants residing outside the EU agree that their data will be processed in accordance with applicable Italian and EU regulations.
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation and applicable national legislation (Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments), SAIMA Meccanica S.p.A., as the Data Controller, hereby informs participants that the personal data provided will be processed for the following purposes:
– to enable participation in the Photo Challenge;
– to manage activities related to the conduct of the initiative;
– to select the winners and notify them;
– to publish the content submitted as part of brand communication and promotion activities.
Providing data is optional but necessary for participation in the initiative. Failure to provide data will make it impossible to participate.
The data will be processed using manual and computerized tools, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency, and will be retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above.
The data may be disclosed to third parties responsible for the technical and organizational management of the initiative, who have been appointed as Data Processors.
Data subjects may exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 and following of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by contacting the Data Controller at the contact details provided on the official website.
